What should I expect on my first trip?
Your first safari is an exhilarating mix of adventure and nature, involving early mornings in open-sided 4x4s for game drives (when animals are most active), stunning wildlife encounters (hello, Big Five!), delicious camp food, and relaxing evenings, all while embracing dusty, sometimes chilly conditions and the thrill of the wild. Expect amazing animal sightings, incredible guides, unexpected "traffic jams" (more animals!), and a deep connection to nature, all made comfortable with layers of clothing and great camp hospitality.
Are you all-inclusive?
Welcome to Africa! From the moment you arrive, everything will be taken care of for you, except for GRATUTIY sure to check out the Travel tab for detailed information on each package and explore the Experiences section for options that may come at an extra cost. Enjoy your journey!
Are you family-friendly
We cherish families! Although all our experiences are family-friendly, please take your child's age into account, as some activities may include long rides or considerable walking. Please note that strollers and wheelchairs might not be appropriate for the terrain. For information, don’t hesitate to reach out to one of our knowledgeable concierges.
Is traveling to South Africa safe?

What is the cuisine like?

Is airfare included? What airport should I fly into?
Our prices do not include airfare. When booking your travel, your final destination will be Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (MQP/NLP)
What do I need to travel?
Vaccinations are not required; you will need a current passport and form of payment (American Express not accepted).
What is the planning process?
At Soul of the Savannah! we aim to ensure your travel experience is completely stress-free. Once you submit your form, we’ll reach out within 48 hours to begin creating personalized itinerary. After your dates are confirmed, you can book your flights and pack your bags, while we handle the scheduling of all your preferred experiences. Upon your arrival at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, one of our private drivers will be there to pick you up and start your adventure with us!
Are there physical limitations?
We are committed to inclusivity, but it's essential to note that some of our excursions may not be suitable for everyone, as they lack wheelchair accessibility and may involve extensive walking or long rides. However, rest assured that our villa is expertly designed to accommodate guests of all abilities.
Where are you located?
Soul of the Savannah is located in Marloth Park, South Africa. Marloth Park is a wildlife sanctuary situated on the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park.
